Looking back to June, race results are in from the NMTC Spring Trail Running Series, Last Runner Standing, Grandma’s Marathon weekend events, and a couple of 5k races including Midnight Sun Midnight Run and Sawdust. Upcoming races are plentiful with the YMCA Sidewalk Shuffle 5k, Park Point 5 miler, Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon, Voyageur 50 Mile Trail Ultramarathon, and the Buzz Ryan Sprint and Brewhouse Triathlons, all within a month!
Trail Conditions around Duluth are good, however potentially overgrown in some areas like out-of-town SHT. Many volunteers are needed to clear trails as vegetation has grown up fast! Tony discusses road safety tips for all runners, a battle between GPS units, and he and Mike each detail a new shoe option.
