Roger Reinert has lived and ran in Duluth for over 20 years, completing many road and trail runs up to the marathon distance. Roger discusses his running career, how got started as a triathlete, his move to Duluth and some of the people and situations that initially spurred his passion for running and what it provides.
Roger is a US Navy veteran who completed a virtual marathon on a 3-mile loop while deployed to Afghanistan! He is also currently a candidate in the running for Mayor of Duluth, so discussed are policy suggestions specifically to benefit runners of Duluth, and the City of Duluth as a whole by leveraging the societal benefits of outdoor activities such as running.
