To start off April, Tony and Mike run down results from the St. Fennessey 4k and preview the Fitger’s 5k road runs, both put on by Grandma’s Marathon as part of the Young Athletes Foundation series of races. Also upcoming is the NMTC Spring Trail Race Series and a couple other events to bring in spring.
The highly variable and quickly changing trail conditions are discussed, and Coach’s Corner with Tony features tips to combat the sometimes-inevitable injuries that can sidetrack those training for spring marathons.
